故郷・宮城県女川町を舞台に、東日本大震災後の町の変化と喪失を見つめる写真プロジェクト。現在の風景や人々の肖像、祖父と父が残した写真、女川の海水を使ったソルトプリントを通して、土地に刻まれた記憶と、そこに暮らし続ける人々の姿をたどる。

The Tide's Gift is a long-term photographic project exploring change and loss in Onagawa, Miyagi, my hometown, following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Through contemporary landscapes and portraits, photographic archives left by my grandfather and father, and salt prints made with seawater from Onagawa, the project traces the memories embedded in the land and the lives of those who continue to call it home.
